LA28 unveils seven venues for Olympic football tournament

MILAN, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- Organizers of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games announced Tuesday six additional cities that will host matches in the men's and women's football tournaments.

Seven venues across the United States have been selected to stage matches in the LA28 Olympic football tournaments.

The schedule for both the men's and women's football tournaments, including the dates and match distribution per stadium, will be announced before the first ticket drop in April 2026, LA28 said in a statement.

The men's gold medal match is scheduled for July 28, 2028, followed by the women's final on July 29.
