Cambodia's Hun Manet, South Korea minister agree on fighting online scams, Seoul says

SEOUL (Reuters) -South Korean Foreign Minister Cho Hyun met Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet on Monday and agreed to strengthen cooperation on fighting online scams and other transnational crimes, the foreign ministry in Seoul said in a statement.

The two countries' national police chiefs launched a joint task force on Monday against South Korean nationals who are involved in scam operations based in Cambodia, the ministry said.
