Uzbekistan's fruit, vegetable exports exceed 1 bln USD in first 7 months of 2025

TASHKENT, Aug. 23 (Xinhua) -- Uzbekistan's fruit and vegetable exports exceeded 1 billion U.S. dollars in the first seven months of 2025, local media reported Saturday citing the National Statistics Committee.

From January to July 2025, Uzbekistan exported 1.3 million tonnes of fruit and vegetable products worth over 1 billion dollars.

Compared to the same period in 2024, export volumes increased by 5.2 percent, or 62,900 tonnes, while the value of exports rose by 35.2 percent.

In November 2024, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said that the country's fruit and vegetable exports are estimated to reach 3.5 billion dollars in 2025.
