Turkish court jails Istanbul mayor pending trial

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - A Turkish court jailed Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu pending trial on Sunday, broadcaster AHaber said, after the country's biggest protests in more than decade against his detention and charges.
