UK PM Starmer names Heidi Alexander as new transport minister

LONDON (Reuters) - British Prime Minister Keir Starmer named Heidi Alexander as the country's new transport minister on Friday, hours after Louise Haigh resigned over an historic offence in connection with misleading police.
