OTTAWA, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- Canada's job vacancies declined by 40,700, or 6.1 percent, to 632,200 in September, continuing the steady downward trend from the peak of just over 1 million reached in May 2022, Statistics Canada said Thursday.
Canada's job vacancies in September were at their lowest level since February 2021, and total labour demand, which corresponds to the sum of filled and vacant positions, declined for the third consecutive month, according to the national statistical agency.
