GABORONE, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- African countries cannot ignore the adoption of new technologies in research and development, said Botswana's Minister of Agriculture Fidelis Molao, who stressed the importance of establishing strategic collaborations aimed at enhancing resilience and increasing agricultural productivity.
Speaking Tuesday at the 8th All Africa Conference on Animal Agriculture, scheduled from Sept. 26 to 29 in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana, Molao urged both organizers and participants to seize the opportunity presented by the conference to find solutions that can enhance food security in Africa.
