U.S. dollar ticks up

NEW YORK, March 24 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar increased in late trading on Friday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, was up 0.58 percent to 103.1123 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
