Snow-induced halt to flights in Vienna extended until 1100 GMT

VIENNA, Feb ⁠20 (Reuters) - The suspension ⁠of flights at ‌Vienna Airport on Friday due to heavy snowfall has ​been extended by ⁠three hours ⁠until midday (1100 GMT) and delays ⁠are ‌expected to continue well ⁠beyond then, the company ​said ‌in a statement.

"As things ⁠currently ​stand, individual take-offs should be possible as ⁠of midday, and ​landings as of 1 p.m.," it said, adding ⁠that of around 232 flights scheduled into and out of ​Vienna on ⁠Friday until midday, 150 ​had been ‌cancelled so far.
