U.S. dollar ticks down

NEW YORK, Sept. 30 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar declined in late trading on Friday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, was down 0.12 percent to 112.1160 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
