U.S. dollar ticks down


NEW YORK, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar fell in late trading on Wednesday.

The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, decreased 1.31 percent to 112.6080 at 3:00 p.m. (1900 GMT).
