Over 6,550 families receive humanitarian assistance in Afghan provinces

KABUL, June 19 (Xinhua) -- More than 6,550 families received humanitarian assistance in 20 provinces of Afghanistan's 34 provinces over the time of a week till Saturday, the country's Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation Affairs said on Sunday.

The assistance included packages of food, cash aid, kitchen tools and hygiene packages that were distributed to displaced, returnees, and destitute families, the ministry said in a statement.
