LOS ANGELES, April 20 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed after a small plane crashed Wednesday near a major freeway in Los Angeles in the western U.S. state of California, authorities said.
The fixed wing aircraft went down around 12:30 p.m. local time on the 210 freeway embankment in Sylmar, a suburban neighborhood within the City of Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
