DAR ES SALAAM, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Tanzania's state-run electricity utility is engaging the private sector in the generation of wind energy, an official said on Wednesday.
Stephen Byabato, the East African nation's Deputy Minister for Energy, told parliament in the capital Dodoma that some investors were implementing wind energy projects in Singida region in collaboration with the Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO).
