BEIJING, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- The investment treaty between China and the European Union (EU) will bring more investment opportunities for companies from both sides and provide better business environment by making high-level market access commitments and adopting high-level fair competition rules, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Wednesday.
The agreement adopts pre-establishment national treatment plus a negative list regarding market access, an official with MOC said at a press conference after the two sides have completed investment agreement negotiations as scheduled.
