SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) -- The August Complex Fire, California's largest-ever blaze raging in Mendocino, Lake and Trinity counties, has reached a stunning 1,002,097 acres (4,055 square km), the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire) reported Monday morning.
Californa Governor Gavin Newsom said Monday that the fact wildfires have burned more than 4 million California acres this year shows the deadliness of climate change.
