Spaniard, German among nine killed in Nepal avalanche

KATHMANDU (Reuters) - An avalanche swept away climbers and their camps on the world's eighth highest mountain in northwestern Nepal on Sunday, killing at least nine people, with another four missing, police said.

Officials said the dead included climbers from Germany and Spain. Five injured climbers were rescued.
