A 12-second video showing a rear-seat passenger leaning out of a car window with their upper body exposed while the vehicle cruised along a highway in Kajang went viral on Threads on Friday (Aug 9).
The footage, believed to have been captured by a dashcam in the vehicle behind, showed the passenger's torso and arms hanging freely outside the moving vehicle at highway speed.

Kajang police chief ACP Naazron Abdul Yusof confirmed the incident after the video spread on Threads and a police report was lodged at 2.57pm on Friday.
The incident is believed to have occurred at KM1 of the Kajang-Seremban Expressway heading towards Kajang.
In the video, a passenger in the rear seat of a white MPV can be seen leaning their upper body out of the side window, from roughly the waist up, while the vehicle is travelling at what appears to be highway speed.
Other vehicles can be seen moving in adjacent lanes.
Police are tracking down both the driver and the passenger.
"We received a report on the incident at 2.57pm today, and the case is being investigated under Section 336 of the Penal Code for a rash or negligent act that endangers the life or personal safety of others," said Naazron in a statement.
Section 336 of the Penal Code covers any act so rashly or negligently as to endanger human life or the personal safety of others, and carries a punishment of imprisonment of up to three months, or a fine of up to RM500, or both.
