TRUE

A 28-year-old female security guard has been detained for allegedly extorting RM50 from a woman over parking issues following a 55-second video of the incident going viral on TikTok.

Kajang OCPD Asst Comm Naazron Abdul Yusof said that the video went viral on Monday (May 19) and the 31-year-old female victim lodged a police report on the same day.

"However, we discovered the incident occurred at about 4pm on Dec 23 last year. It occurred at a hospital in Kajang,” he added.

The video gathered various reactions from social media users who said that the security guard was taking advantage of the hospital visitors by extorting money if the latter parked in prohibited areas.
