QuickCheck: Was a two-month-old baby abandoned near a KL eatery?

IT was reported that a two-month-old baby girl was found abandoned near an eatery in Bandar Baru Bukit Jalil. Is this true?



Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Zam Halim Jamaluddin said the baby was found in a bag at an eatery at Apartment Sri Rakyat on Sunday (Sept 25).

"Checks on the baby by medical personnel from the Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz (HCTM) at the scene confirmed that the baby is healthy.

“She was then brought to the Bukit Jalil police station and investigations are ongoing," he said in a statement on Tuesday (Sept 27).
