A picture of a poster has gone viral on social media, and in the poster it is claimed that the wearing of face masks will not be required after Tuesday (March 29). Is this true?

In a statement, the Communications and Multimedia Ministry Quick Response Team said that the National Security Council (NSC) has denied the claim in the viral message.

The Ministry's team quoted the NSC as saying that the contents of the poster were false, and the public is advised not to easily believe such fake news, but instead be responsible digital citizens.

It added that the public can refer to official sources to get authentic information.
