RECENTLY, a 33-second video clip was uploaded to Facebook that appears to show a four-wheel drive trying to run over several people who were trying to escape floodwaters.

Did this happen recently, as alleged in the video?

In a statement on Sunday, North Klang OCPD ACP S. Vijaya Rao said an initial investigation showed that the incident happened at a road near Kampung Batu Belah in the Klang area.

“The driver behaved dangerously by trying to reverse the vehicle as five individuals were trying to wade through floodwaters,” he said.

ACP Vijaya Rao however added that the police have yet to receive a report on the incident.
