The Hong Kong government announced a US$1.4bil plan to bail out one of the city's largest theme parks after seven months of social unrest resulted in a historically low number of visitors to the semi-autonomous city in 2019.
An Ocean Park spokesperson said on Monday (Jan 13) that without the bailout, funds would soon be exhausted as the park faces a cash flow deficit of more than 77 million dollars for the 2019-20 fiscal year.
