Nine people are missing after a former car showroom in downtown Shanghai collapsed on Thursday, local rescue workers said.
Eleven others had been pulled from the rubble by 1.30pm, two hours after the roof of the building collapsed during rebuilding work, a statement on the fire service’s Weibo account said. There was no immediate word on their condition.
