MANILA, Philippines (ANN): Despite everything that undefeated American boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. has achieved in his career, some remain unimpressed – including a woman who called him “chicken” while shopping in a mall in Manila.

In a video posted by Twitter user EditinKing Boxing Thursday (April 4), Mayweather is seen going down an escalator with his security staff as he waved and smiled at his Filipino fans.

A woman off-screen, however, made it clear that she was not a fan of the boxing star.

“I don’t like you,” the woman shouted.

“You’re a chicken. I hate you,” she added.

Mayweather seemed to have heard the woman and tilted his head towards her direction.

Instead of getting angry, Mayweather gave the woman a smile and a thumbs up.

Mayweather arrived in the Philippines on March 31 via private jet and spent time in Boracay before returning to Manila Tuesday (April 2).

The boxer was supposedly scheduled to attend a press conference at Resorts World Manila but failed to show up, leaving members of the media waiting for more than  eight hours.

This was Mayweather’s second visit to the Philippines. In 2018, he also visited the country and spent time in El Nido, Palawan. – Philippine Daily Inquirer / Asia News Network
