BEIJING: A woman angry about unpaid wages after losing her job was arrested for staging a protest in a subway station in central China, mainland media reported.

The unnamed 46-year-old woman climbed onto security inspection equipment inside the subway in Wuhan, Hubei province, while shouting to other passengers that her former employer, the station’s property management section, still owed her one month’s salary, the Wuhan Evening News reported.
