LAWYER Lukshumayeh Mahadevan, 46, began serving his nine-month jail term on Thursday after deciding not to appeal against the sentence.
Lukshumayeh, or Mayeh as the former chief of the hockey federation is popularly known, landed in the soup because he could not find about S$5,000 (RM11,267) to remain in practice.
