JAKARTA: An Indonesian student was yesterday sentenced to five months in prison for torching pictures of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his deputy during a protest against rising fuel prices late last year.
Harkat Firdaus was found guilty of insulting the president during the Dec 20 demonstration one of many held nationwide in anger at Susilo's decision to axe costly fuel subsidies.
