BEIJING: An overloaded ferry sank in the Yellow River killing at least 12 people and leaving 36 missing, the China Daily paper said yesterday.
The ferry, carrying 69 people, capsized in bad weather on Thursday en route to a small island in the northern province of Shanxi, it said.
