JAKARTA: Indonesian presidential candidate Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono yesterday told a pre-poll corruption check that he was worth US$500,000 (RM1.9mil), a sum likely to be dwarfed by rival President Megawati Sukarnoputri.
The former general, who faces Megawati in the Sept 20 elections, told the independent Committee for the Eradication of Corruption that his total wealth in July 2004 stood at 4.57bil rupiah (RM1.9mil). – AFP
