JAKARTA: Indonesian surgeons yesterday created an anus for a pair of three-day-old conjoined twins born without one, but said the boys would have to wait at least six months for separation surgery.
The twins were born on Saturday in the west Javanese city of Bandung with separate heads and chests, but fused at the stomach and without an anus – meaning nursing staff had to stop feeding the pair on Monday.
