AMMAN: Arab countries have no way of averting a US-led war on Iraq but will seek to limit the damage of an eventual conflict at their forthcoming Arab summit, regional officials and analysts have said.
“Arab leaders who will meet at a summit on Saturday have no illusions over their ability to change the course of events in Iraq and the only thing they want is to limit the damage in case of war,” a senior Arab official said.
