SINGAPORE: Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew threw a challenge to young Singaporeans last night, asking them if they have the guts to fight for a better Singapore, the Straits Times reported.
Addressing nearly 2,000 students from the National University of Singapore and Singapore Management University, he asked: “Do you have the guts and gumption that your parents and grand parents displayed when they faced the stark choice of either working together to make Singapore succeed, or face the humiliation of failure, wishing we had never been ousted from Malaysia?”
