BANGKOK: Thailand said it will reopen checkpoints along its 800km frontier with Cambodia today, a week after closing them following anti-Thai riots in Phnom Penh.
“We can open the border on Thursday now that Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has agreed to ease border restrictions,” Deputy Prime Minister Chavalit Yongchaiyudh said yesterday.
