KUALA LUMPUR: Several supporters of former economy minister Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli have gathered outside Bukit Aman ahead of his expected appearance to assist in a police investigation into allegations linked to a corporate mafia on Tuesday (Nov 3).
The supporters, dressed in yellow while others wore yellow T-shirts bearing the logo of Parti Bersama Malaysia (Bersama), were believed to have arrived as early as 9am.
Rafizi, who is also the founder of Bersama, is expected to have his statement recorded by the Classified Criminal Investigation Unit (USJT) D5 of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
On Monday (Nov 2), Rafizi confirmed that he had received a notice from the police to give a statement under Sections 500 and 505 of the Penal Code.
The investigation is believed to stem from a police report lodged on Oct 22 over his speech during a ceramah in Selayang on Oct 20.
