Anwar, Wan Azizah arrive for National Day parade in Putrajaya

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has arrived at Dataran Putrajaya for the 2026 National Day celebration.

The excited cheers of the crowds could be heard as Anwar, along his wife Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, exited their transport vehicle at around 7.56am on Monday (Aug 31).

A short but vibrant human graphic performance greeted Anwar and Wan Azizah as the pair climbed the steps to the VVIP booth.

They then sat alongside Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who had arrived earlier at around 7.45am to similar applause.
