SEREMBAN: The Negri Sembilan Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry seized 1,080 liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders of various capacities, valued at an estimated RM300,000, in a raid on a premises at a small industrial area in Lukut, Port Dickson.
Its director, Muhammad Zahir Mazlan, said the raid, conducted at about 6pm on Thursday, was carried out after they detected LPG decanting activities believed to involve the misappropriation of controlled items.
He said three individuals, including two foreign men, all in their 20s and 30s, were detained.
“Further investigation found 1,080 LPG cylinders of various capacities, as well as a vehicle.
“The case is being investigated under Section 21 of the Control of Supplies Act 1961 (Act 122), read together with Regulation 3(1) of the Control of Supplies Regulations 1974,” he said in a statement yesterday, Bernama reported.
Muhammad Zahir said complaints could be channelled through WhatsApp at 019-848 8000, the Ez Adu KPDN app, the 1-800-886-800 call centre or the KPDN e-Aduan portal.
