National Day: ERL offers 50% discount on KLIA transit return fares to Putrajaya

KUALA LUMPUR: Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) is offering a special KLIA Transit fare promotion in conjunction with the 69th National Day celebrations to facilitate public access to various events in Putrajaya, including the 2026 National Day Parade.

ERL said while passengers can enjoy a 50% discount on KLIA Transit return tickets from any station to the Putrajaya and Cyberjaya Station, the promotion is not valid for travel to KLIA Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

"The promotional fare is available for both adult and child passengers (aged 6 to 15) travelling from Aug 29 to 31. Purchase of the promotional fare is available only through the KLIA Ekspres mobile app and via KLIA Ekspres official website starting Aug 26 until 31.

"Children aged five and below travel free on KLIA Transit with every adult ticket purchased, subject to a maximum of three children per adult passenger,” ERL said in a statement today.

To add to the festive National Day celebration, ERL will also be giving away exclusive Merdeka Pack to the first 200 passengers arriving at Putrajaya and Cyberjaya Station on Aug 31.

"From Putrajaya Sentral, passengers can take advantage of the free shuttle bus service provided by Prasarana and Perbadanan Putrajaya to travel to various event locations around Putrajaya,” it said.

In addition to the National Day parade on Aug 31, visitors can also witness the full-dress rehearsal on Aug 29, as well as other Merdeka-themed attractions including Riuh Merdeka and the Ambang Merdeka 2026 celebration.
