PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Fadillah Yusof is undergoing heart bypass surgery at Institut Jantung Negara in Kuala Lumpur after receiving medical advice.
In a statement on Monday (Aug 3), the Deputy Prime Minister's Office and the Energy Transition and Water Transformation Ministry said Fadillah's condition remained stable.
“Medical experts advised him to rest completely and refrain from receiving visitors to ensure smooth treatment and recovery,” wrote Datuk Misiah Taib, his press secretary.
Fadillah's family requests the public’s prayers for a successful surgical procedure and a complete recovery, enabling him to resume his public duties.
