KUALA LUMPUR: Over 110 premises have been demolished following a court order to vacate the area in Kampung Chubadak Tambahan.
In a statement Thursday (July 30), Sentul OCPD Asst Comm Basri Sagoni said that 119 premises were demolished following the execution of a court order to vacate the area that was issued on July 16.
“On July 16, the court completed the issuing of vacant possession notices on the owners of the affected premises, requiring them to vacate the properties between July 16 and 30.
“As of 2pm today, all 119 premises within the designated operation zone had been successfully demolished,” he said.
He added that the demolition went off without any incident and that the exercise was conducted under strict supervision from the authorities.
“The police stressed that the site clearance process was carried out transparently and in an orderly manner in accordance with established procedures,” he said.
