Urgent search launched for missing 15-year-old girl in Ampang


KUALA LUMPUR: A 15-year-old girl has been reported missing when she was absent from school.

Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Khairul Anuar Khalid, in a statement on Tuesday (June 16), said that Damien Qalisya Syafri was reported missing after she failed to attend school.

The missing girl’s mother told the police that she did not know why her daughter would run from home.

“Her last known location was in Jalan Pandan Indah 3/3, in Ampang. The girl is approximately 152cm in height, weighs around 52kg and has a medium brown skin tone.

"The public is urged to relay any information regarding the missing person by going to the nearest police station, contacting the Ampang Jaya District Police Control Centre at 03 4289 7222, or contacting the investigating officer, Insp Nur Faizah Mohd. Anuar at 017 3422 804,” he said.
