KUALA LUMPUR: The investigation into businessman Albert Tei’s criminal intimidation allegation against Tan Sri Azam Baki has been classified as No Further Action (NFA).
The Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) said it reviewed the investigation paper submitted by the police regarding Tei’s complaint against the former Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) chief commissioner.

Police had previously recorded statements from Tei and a lawyer who allegedly conveyed the threats to him.
On May 13, Tei lodged a police report claiming that threats from the former MACC chief had been relayed to him through the lawyer.
Azam denied the allegations and urged the police to expedite investigations into the claims.
