SEREMBAN: Negri Sembilan Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun was granted an almost-two-hour audience by Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir at Istana Hinggap here Wednesday (June 3) morning to present updates on developments in the state.
He was seen entering the palace at about 9am, and left at 10.50am.
As he passed the palace gate, Aminuddin lowered his car window and waved at reporters waiting to get word about the possible dissolution of the state legislative assembly.
"Normal Wednesday meeting," he said as he left under police escort.
Also present at the meeting with the Ruler was state police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Alzafny Ahmad.
Talk has been rife that the state assembly could be dissolved soon to pave the way for elections.

On Tuesday (June 2), Pakatan Harapan assemblymen and state party leaders gathered for a special meeting at the Mentri Besar's official residence here following talk of the impending dissolution.
Fourteen of the 17 Pakatan assemblymen were seen arriving separately from 9.30am for the meeting, believed to discuss local political developments following the dissolution of the Johor assembly on Monday (June1), among other matters.
After media personnel were seen converging outside the official residence, an aide sent a WhatsApp message that no press conference was scheduled for the day.
"The Mentri Besar will have a routine audience with the state Ruler (Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir) tomorrow (June 3) before chairing the state exco meeting," it read.
Aminuddin was initially scheduled to hold his regular media conference at Wisma Negri here later Wednesday, but but this has since been called off.
The last state polls were held on Aug 12, 2023.
Pakatan won 17 seats followed by Barisan Nasional (14) and Perikatan Nasional (five).
