Peeping Tom arrested in Tawau


KOTA KINABALU: Police has nabbed a peeping Tom in Tawau, after a woman lodged a report claiming she saw someone “spying” at her while she was bathing.

Tawau OCPD Asst Comm Jasmin Hussin said the woman had reported that she was bathing at home when she noticed an unknown man allegedly peeping at her on May 21.

“Based on CCTV recordings, we managed to identify the suspect and arrested a local man in his 30s, believed involved in this case,” he said in a statement.

This case is being investigated under Section 507A of the Penal Code for stalking.
