Rafizi, Nik Nazmi to lead Parti Bersama Malaysia

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli and Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad are set to take the helm of Parti Bersama Malaysia, marking a significant shift for the minor political outfit.

The transition was formalised on Sunday (May 17), when the party’s long-standing leader, Tan Gin Theam, officially handed over leadership.

“Mr Tan is handing over the helm to Rafizi and Nik Nazmi, who will successfully drive the party forward to shape a better political future for Malaysia,” said an announcer at the duo’s event to announce their political direction here.

Parti Bersama Malaysia, also known as Malaysian United Party (Parti MU), was officially registered on December 2, 2016. However, its conceptual roots date back to 2015, based on online information.
