Student, salesman among three killed in fatal Alor Gajah crash


ALOR GAJAH: Three men killed in a fatal accident along Jalan Felda Hutan Percha here have been identified as a university student studying in Nilai, and two salesmen from Segamat, Johor.

The Star was informed that the car driver, Tan Jin Han, 23, was a student at a university in Nilai, Negri Sembilan, who succumbed to serious injuries at Hospital Melaka on the same day of the collision

Two other deceased were identified as Pang Chee Cheng and Jaston Wong Woei Jun, both 24, from Segamat, Johor, working as salesmen.

Meanwhile, an injured 23-year-old female passenger was identified as a former student of a private university here and is currently being treated at Hospital Melaka.

Earlier, Alor Gajah OCPD Superintendent Ahmad Abu Bakar said the three were killed after their car collided with a lorry along Jalan Felda Hutan Percha at about 3.40pm on Sunday (April 26).

Initial investigations found that the accident is believed to have occurred when the car, travelling from Melaka towards Segamat, Johor, lost control before veering into the opposite lane and colliding with a lorry coming from Tebong heading to Cheng.
