Two killed after truck crashes into side of road


IPOH: Two men were killed after the truck they were in crashed into the side of the road at KM194.7 northbound of the West Coast Expressway.

Perak Fire and Rescue Department assistant director (Operations) Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad said both men, aged 45 and 30, were pronounced dead by Health Ministry personnel, following the incident on Tuesday (April 14) at about 10am.

"Both men were found pinned under the vehicle, which was transporting chickens.

"The bodies of the deceased have been handed over to the police for the next course of action," he said in a statement.

"Operation ended at about 11.30am," he added.
