Immigration deputy director-general (Operations) Datuk Lokman Effendi Ramli said the team of 55 immigration enforcement personnel members inspected 92 foreigners during the raids, some of whom were apprehended as they were trying to escape.

"Out of the total, 45 individuals were identified for committing various offences under the Immigration Act and have been detained,” he said in a media conference on Tuesday.

He said that those detained, 39 men and six women, aged 21 to 50, committed offences such as not possessing valid travel documents and overstaying.
