ISTANBUL (Bernama-Anadolu): Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei says it was "natural" that no agreement was reached with the United States in a single day of talks in Islamabad, Pakistan, citing a deep atmosphere of mistrust following a recent conflict, Anadolu Ajansi reported.
Speaking to Iranian state television, Baqaei evaluated the indirect negotiations held between US and Iranian delegations in Pakistan's capital, describing the talks as taking place in a climate marked not only by distrust but also suspicion after a 40-day war.
