Amira Aisya elected as new Muda president


PETALING JAYA: Amira Aisya Abd Aziz has been elected as Muda president for the 2026/2029 term.

Muda election director Muhammad Zaim Zulkafli announced this after the election of 25 executive committee members held simultaneously with the party's 2025 annual general meeting, reported Sinar Harian.

Zaidel Baharuddin was also elected as Muda deputy president and Ainie Haziqah as secretary-general.

Five vice presidents were also elected, namely Faezrah Rizalman, Leben Siddarth, Zarul Afiq, Dobby Chew and Dr Siva Prakash.

Amira Aisya, when delivering her closing speech, said that the names and positions of other elected exco members would be announced after Hari Raya.

"I will announce the treasurer-general and five exco positions that fall under the president's jurisdiction after the Raya holidays.

"The new information chief Rasid Abu Bakar will hold the next press conference," said Amira Aisya, who is also Puteri Wangsa assemblyman.
